HIT Entertainment has licenced three key series to SBT for transmission on terrestrial TV in Brazil.
The deal, which was brokered by HIT's TV and video sales manager for Latin America, Ruthie Schulz, will see Thomas and Friends, Bob the Builder and Barney launch over the next few months.
"We are delighted to be working with SBT," said Karyn Folbe, VP of international (Latin America) at HIT. "Debuting proven top global brands characters on free TV in Brazil is very exciting. We are looking to emulate the worldwide success that Bob the Builder and Thomas and Friends have achieved and look forward to them joining the level of popularity Barney enjoys across Latin America."
