Channel 4 has signed an exclusive, first-look deal with Michael Winterbottom's production company Revolution Films.
The move follows the pair's recent collaboration on The Road To Guantanamo, a feature-length factual drama airing next month.
"I am delighted to create this unique, ongoing relationship with such original and innovative talents as Michael Winterbottom, (co-producer) Andrew Eaton and Revolution Films," said Tessa Ross, C4's head of drama and film.
Winterbottom's A Cock and Bull Story is up for best film at this weekend's BAFTAs. He has already begun work on several new and "promising" television projects for C4.
