FX UK plans "brand re-development"
Published Wednesday, Feb 22 2006, 17:26 GMT | By Neil Wilkes
FX is commissioning a new graphics package to "revitalise" the channel's on and off-air look.
Four agencies - Red Bee, Addiction, Bruce Dunlop and DED Ass - have been asked to pitch for the contract, which calls for design completion in April ahead of implementation this June.
The package, developed from the existing brand, will include bugs, bumpers, idents, billboards and interstitials, in addition to print advertising templates and designs for PR materials.
Cecilia Parker has been promoted from marketing director to communications director of Fox International Channels UK and will oversee the redevelopment process. "We are not looking to change the brand values we started out with, but just a graphic revitalisation to ensure we have a clear and distinctive brand given the tough market we are in," said Parker. "We also aim to remain relevant for our target market."
Meanwhile, Jason Thorp has been upped from vp of broadcasting and marketing to svp and deputy MD of Fox International Channels UK.
