ITV1+1 to launch tonight

ITV's timeshift channel of ITV1 will launch this evening, enabling viewers to watch shows such as Emmerdale and Taggart one hour after their scheduled start time.

At 8pm, the long-delayed ITV1+1 channel will become available on Sky channel 131, Freeview channel 33, Virgin Media channel 114 and Freesat channel 112.

Anyone with a Freeview receiver or integrated television will need to manually retune their equipment to get ITV1+1, but there's no need to retune on Sky, Freesat or Virgin Media.

ITV also said that the timeshift channel of ITV2 will move to position 179 on Sky's electronic programme guide after tonight's launch of ITV1+1.
