The Australian television personality, who is best known as a judge on reality show MasterChef Australia, is allegedly set to become 2DayFM duo Kyle Sandilands and Jackie O's sidekick on their morning show next month.
According to The Daily Telegraph, Preston will talk about food and interview chefs for his segment of the show.
In response to rumours of a personality clash between him and Sandilands, Preston said: "I kind of like Kyle. I've always found him to be a pussy cat. He's like a cuddly fur seal, but not if he calls me a walrus again."
He also revealed: "I have wanted to do more [radio] and I think this is a really good opportunity to learn the ropes."
