ITV appoints head of reality programming

ITV has appointed Layla Sabih as its first "controller of alternative programmes".
Sabih, former executive producer of Hell's Kitchen in the UK and US, will take charge of reality shows such as I'm A Celebrity and Celebrity Love Island in the new role.
"I am very excited about Layla's appointment," said Paul Jackson, ITV's new director of entertainment and comedy. "She has delivered some fantastic telelvision for ITV and her experience and talent will be invaluable in this new position."
