CNBC Europe has appointed Roslyn Shaw to the newly-created position of head of creative solutions.
Shaw will manage the production of all sponsored programming on the financial news channel and manage its commercial content.
"Companies are increasingly waking up to the advantages of branded content and the opportunity it provides to engage customers in a mutually rewarding way," said Shaw. "So much so, that demand for bespoke, content-led solutions is growing exponentially.
"For this reason it's an exciting time to be specialising in this area and CNBC Europe provides the ideal environment for branded content. The channel's elite, active and responsive audience looks to the network for in-depth information to guide their decision-making."
Liz Jones, CNBC Europe's vice president and European sales director said: "We want to build on our success to date in providing effective branded content solutions for an expanding international client base. Roslyn's extensive experience in this field will ensure that we continue to offer our clients innovative and effective solutions to meet their communications needs."
