Channel 4 "close" to two-year 'Deal'
Published Tuesday, Mar 14 2006, 12:48 GMT | By Neil Wilkes

The contract is an extension to the current, one-year deal and follows the success of the primetime version, which began on Saturday with more than 5 million viewers.
The move is also thought to follow a recent attempt by ITV to poach the show for its teatime schedule.
