The launch sees Billabong.TV become exclusively available on the Bravia Internet Video service, accessible via Sony's connected TVs and Blu-ray players.
Billabong.TV will feature a broad range of content, including adrenaline sports coverage and interviews with board sport athletes, as well as fashion shoots with the Billabong girls.
The fashion brand joins a variety of other content services already available on the Bravia Internet Video player, including BBC iPlayer, LoveFilm, Sky News and YouTube.
"Billabong.TV brings the exciting world of action sports straight into your living room," said Edd Uzzell, proposition development manager at Sony UK.
"What's more, adding Billabong.TV to our growing lineup of valuable partners on Bravia Internet Video service shows the whole new world of channels and videos that can be accessed by simply connecting your TV to the internet. Securing the world's leading action sports lifestyle brand shows the breadth and depth of quality content we're offering."
Scott Wallace, Billabong's vice president of new media, added: "Billabong.TV allows viewers to take themselves on an armchair ride through the world of action sports.
"Watch the world's best surfers tackling the treacherous Teahupoo in Tahiti, cruise through downtown LA with skateboard icon Bucky Lasek, or chill out with the Billabong bikini models as they go on location in Hawaii.
"Whatever your interest, Billabong TV provides a fresh, exciting insight into the people, places and events that help define the world's most exciting action sports brand."
