SeeSaw chief executive Sebert departs

Sebert's exit, first reported by C21 Media, came after Arqiva merged its three divisions into two last October, meaning SeeSaw shifted to the broadcast and media unit, run by Nick Thompson. It is understood that Sebert, the former managing director of Eurosport UK, left the company last month.
SeeSaw launched in February 2010 offering both catch-up and on-demand programming from UK and US content providers, supported by advertising and, more recently, subscription services.
The site was created after Arqiva paid £8m to acquire the technology developed for Project Kangaroo, the BBC Worldwide, ITV and Channel 4 joint venture blocked by the Competition Commission.
On Monday, SeeSaw claimed that the growth of web TV services has resulted in the traditional 'TV dinner' being replaced by the 'PC dinner' for almost a fifth of British people.
