Published Thursday, Mar 23 2006, 20:05 GMT | By Neil Wilkes
A third of UK adults make phone calls in the nude, according to new research.
Men are particularly liberated when it comes to chatting sans clothes, with 40% admitting to doing so. Only 27% of women say they have indulged in a naked natter.
The survey, conducted by the Post Office to promote its new HomePhone product, also revealed that one in ten people have wandered off during a phone call, leaving the unfortunate caller talking to themselves.
5% of people questioned had at one time become so bored with the conversation that they fell asleep.
