A&E and Sky are still in talks about launching a joint-venture crime channel in the UK.
As previously reported, the pair are working together on plans for a UK version of the Crime & Investigation Network, a factual/drama station that launched in Australia and the US last year.
The new channel, which would sit alongside The History Channel and The Biography Channel, is now expected to launch "later this year".
According to Broadcast, Sky and A&E are also in talks to launch The Military History Channel in 2007.
