New Cartoon Network channel sets launch date
Published Friday, Apr 14 2006, 00:02 BST | By Neil Wilkes

Cartoon Network Too aims to be the "destination for anyone in search of a good giggle" with a lineup comprising Cartoon Network staples such as Dexter’s Laboratory, Ed, Edd n Eddy and The Powerpuff Girls alongside classics such as Wacky Races, Yogi Bear and The Flintstones.
“There are so many great new shows launching on Cartoon Network right now, we wanted to find a way to do more with all of our favourite stars," said Dom Gardiner, general manager of both channels. "Cartoons as funny as Dexter’s Laboratory, Ed, Edd n Eddy and The Flintstones are too good to keep off-air for any length of time, so we decided to give them their very own channel – Cartoon Network Too.”
The channel will air between 3am and 7pm daily.
