MTV launches VOD broadband service in UK
Published Tuesday, Apr 18 2006, 13:11 BST | By Neil Wilkes

The free service, launched in the US via mtv.com last year, acts an interactive add-on to the network's broadcast content, with extra scenes, highlights packages, news roundups, movie trailers and music videos.
MTV Overdrive UK will launch this Sunday, April 23, to coincide with the premiere of Pimp My Ride UK series two.
"Exclusive Pimp My Ride clips work brilliantly online," said Angel Gambino, vp of commercial strategy and digital media at MTV Networks UK. "It makes perfect sense to link the launch of this programme with MTV Overdrive in the UK."
