The broadcaster's viewing figures for the marriage of Prince William and Kate Middleton peaked at 661,000, which places it in the top 20 most-viewed events in Sky News' history.
Eamonn Holmes led the coverage of the wedding on Friday, April 29, which brought the channel an all-day share increase of 142%.
Meanwhile, more than 35,000 customers enjoyed royal wedding coverage via the Sky News iPad app, a 225% increase on the daily average usage of the service. Meanwhile, Sky News mobile services saw more than 590,000 unique users creating over 4.9 million page views.
More than 160 members of staff helped to deliver Sky News' coverage of the Royal Wedding, which started at 6am and continued throughout the day, including a special programme entitled Your Royal Wedding, which allowed viewers to send in their own experiences of the royal wedding via video.
John Ryley, head of Sky News, said: "Our team did a world-class job delivering the royal wedding to our viewers across multiple platforms. Our coverage was celebratory and fun and our record figures reflect just how much our audiences enjoyed it too."
Sky's royal wedding anchor Holmes said: "For me the highlight of the day was the feeling of happiness. Maybe not the strongest feeling or emotion but on the day it was contagious."
