Mel B joins 'Kyle and Jackie O Show'

Mel B has joined The Kyle and Jackie O Show as a regular host.

The former Spice Girl, who has relocated to Australia to become a judge on The X Factor, was announced as the latest guest presenter on Kyle Sandilands and Jackie O's 2DayFM breakfast radio show this morning.

Jackie O said live on air: "We have to make a special announcement. Mel B is now a member of our team, she's a regular on the show."

Mel B later asked Sandilands why he had left his role as a judge on The X Factor, saying: "So what happened with you... why aren't you doing it? Did you fire you or did they fire you?"

He responded: "I left because I've got Australia's Got Talent and this show, and then it was that show... all at the same time."

2DayFM boss Derek Bargwanna told The Daily Telegraph: "Mel has built a great rapport with Kyle and Jackie having been a regular guest on the show so having her on each week will be a lot of fun. We consistently get great listener feedback whenever Mel guest stars so it's exciting to have her on board whilst she's in Australia."

Other stars who regularly appear on the show include MasterChef judge Matt Preston and actress Sophie Monk.
