From September, Lewis will be responsible for driving Cineflix's primetime factual and factual entertainment commissions from UK broadcasters. She will work alongside global creative director Rob Carey and report to Cineflix chief executive of programming Simon Lloyd.
Cineflix Productions, a subsidiary of Canadian firm Cineflix Media, produces a range of non-scripted factual programmes, including Treasure Seekers for Sky Atlantic, CBBC's Animals At Work and Family Food Fight with Flora on Channel 5.
Lewis has been at Talkback Thames for the past six years, most recently as head of factual features overseeing shows such as Grand Designs, Property Ladder, Great British Railway Journeys and Four Rooms.
"Camilla is an exceptional television executive with a strong creative vision, an eye for brilliant ideas and an infectious personality," said Lloyd.
"We're really pleased that she'll be joining what is one of the world's most dynamic and successful senior creative teams."
Lewis added: "Out of all the independent producers based in the UK, Cineflix was the ideal choice for a new challenge; it is ambitious, has grown continuously and has a strong and creative international team which has been responsible for some great successes in a short time.
"I'm looking forward to working alongside such an exciting team to create high-profile, high-rating hits for the UK market."
Last November, Cineflix hired Alchemy founder Nick Witkowski as an international consultant tasked with developing its scripted programming business.
