England striker Crouch, who married Abbey Clancy yesterday in Leicestershire, will join rapper Dizzee in a TV advert for Sky Go premiering today.
Launching on July 6, Sky Go will enable Sky's 10 million subscribers to watch live television channels online and on mobile devices for free. Bringing together the existing Sky Player and Sky Mobile TV services, Sky Go will stream channels such as Sky Sports, Sky Movies, Sky News and Sky Atlantic to iPhones, iPads, PCs and Macs.
The 60-second ad, created by Brothers & Sisters, features sports fans using their hands to fold a widescreen TV into a tablet device and then into a smartphone to show the flexibility of Sky Go.
Crouch makes a special appearance in the ad to perform a goal celebration dance called 'The Fold', while Dizzee Rascal raps in front of backing dancers folding TV screens showing live sports into phones.
The ad premieres today across a range of channels, backed up by print, outdoor and digital activity highlighting Sky's summer season of sport, including Premier League Football and US PGA golf.
Sky's director of sports and news marketing Corin Dimopoulos said: "The launch of Sky Go brings a whole new dimension to Sky Sports, meaning that sports fans now need never miss a single second of the action.
"This irreverent cross-platform campaign captures the full benefits of Sky Sports experience, including five HD channels, 3D coverage and now the ability to watch live coverage on the move at no extra cost, making the Sky Sports subscription even better value."
Yesterday, culture secretary Jeremy Hunt gave the go-ahead for News Corp's proposal to spin off Sky News as a separate company as a way to ease media plurality concerns about its multi-billion pound takeover of Sky.
