CNBC appoints new news editors

CNBC has appointed two new news editors to its European team.
Martin Baccardax joins from Bloomberg to become the European news editor, based at the network's regional headquarters in London. His responsibilities include driving and co-ordinating daily and long-term financial news coverage from the UK and across Europe.
Meanwhile, Bettina Wassener has been appointed to the Frankfurt bureau as German news editor. Joining from Business Week, Wassener will work with the local reporters and producers to strengthen the depth of coverage from Germany.
