Colin and Edith's BBC show to end
Published Sunday, Jul 2 2006, 16:25 BST | By Peter Stiff
Colin Murray and Edith Bowman's three year Radio 1 partnership is to end as part of a shake-up of the station's schedule.
Edith will continue to host their 1300-1600 weekday slot alone, as Murray moves to front a new music show airing Mondays-Thursdays at 2200.
The pair began presenting together in 2003 on the station's Saturday breakfast show.
"I'll miss out daily banter but I'm on cloud nine at what lies ahead and the incedible opportunity I've been given," Bowman said.
Murray is also excited about the future, meanwhile. "I'm greatful to be given the chance to front a show that really hits those turned-on, engaged evening Radio 1 listeners," he said.
