The Sun, Facebook win Digital Spy readers' awards 2011

The Rupert Murdoch-owned tabloid paper just pipped The Guardian to take home best newspaper in the poll of our 12 million monthly readers.
Long-running celebrity magazine Heat was named magazine of the year, ahead of the movies publication Empire.

Google's video sharing website YouTube was in second place, ahead of microblogging site Twitter, catch-up TV service BBC iPlayer and Apple's iTunes store.
