The actor, who has played family man Adam for seven years, will no longer star in the commercials after bosses decided the campaign had run its course.
Co-star Esther Hall, who plays Adam's partner Jane, will still feature in occasional adverts, but they will move away from the family theme.
A spokeswoman confirmed the decision and told The Mirror: "Kris has been an integral part of the extremely successful and much-loved BT Family adverts."
The pair have been in 40 TV commercials for the telecommunications giant over seven years, which told story of the couple's romance. Viewers saw them get married six months ago.
Marshall will make his final appearance in the BT adverts next month.
He was arrested for drink driving in October after refusing to do a breathalyser test while driving out of a supermarket in Somerset.
