ITV is developing ideas for more digital channels, according to director of television Simon Shaps.
The broadcaster's digital portfolio currently includes ITV2, ITV3, ITV4 and Men & Motors, which were recently joined by kids channel CITV and gaming station ITV Play.
Speaking at Edinburgh over the weekend, Shaps revealed he was "looking really hard" at ideas for new channels but had no timescales or deadlines in place for launches.
"We have a great capability to launch new channels," he said, pointing to the "power of cross-promotion" on ITV1 as a major commercial advantage.
Referring to audience share augmentation, he added: "They've done a terrific job for us."
