Five inks telefilm deal for new diginets

Five has secured the rights to 180 telemovies under a new deal with RHI Entertainment, the US-based distributor previously known as Hallmark Entertainment.

The three-year deal will provide content for Five's soon-to-launch digital channels, Five Life and Five US, as well as the Five daytime schedule.

Controller of acquisitions Vanessa Brookman said of the deal: "Five has a great relationship with RHI Entertainment and TV movies form a key part of the schedule."
