Trinny and Susannah's ITV makeover a success

The first episode of Trinny and Susannah: Undress managed 4.1 million viewers for ITV last night, only slightly under what their previous show What Not To Wear, acquired on BBC2 last Thursday.
The show has a slightly new format from its BBC counterpart. In the six-part series, the girls take six couples and attempt to put the spark back into their tired relationships through changing the couples' wardrobes.
Though it was not enough to make BBC viewers switch over to see the pair's new show. The ITV1 programme had an 18% audience share in the 8pm hour, competing against BBC1's Holby City, which achieved 6.2 million viewers and a 28% share.
BBC2's Autumnwatch with Bill Oddie, managed 3.8 million viewers and a 17% share.
The new series of What Not To Wear, presented by singer Mica Paris and model Lisa Butcher, attracted 4.2 million viewers and a 20% share when it aired in the same slot last week.
Last autumn's series on BBC1, the last featuring Trinny and Susannah, attracted an average 4.8 million viewers and a 20% share.
