'This Morning' producer heads to BBC Worldwide

BBC Worldwide has appointed Gareth Williams as executive producer for international format development.
Williams is currently executive producer of Granada & ITV1's This Morning and development executive of daytime and lifestyle for ITV Productions.
Before Granada, he was also head of channels for UKTV Food and UKTV Bright Ideas, and BBC entertainment and features series producer.
Reporting to the BBC Worldwide director of formats Colin Jarvis, Williams will be in charge of developing content for the international market, working with independent producers, BBC in-house creative teams and overseas production departments.
Williams begins his new position in mid-November.
