'Strictly' the winner in Saturday ratings

The battle of the Saturday talent shows continues, with BBC One's Strictly Come Dancing victorious this week with an average 9.1 million and a 40% audience share.
The 6.05pm show peaked at 9.7 million and a 41.5% share at 6.45pm.
ITV1's X-Factor did well with an average 8.2 million and a 35% share. The 90-minute show overlapped with Strictly, but maintained an audience of 7.1 million over the first 45-minutes. At 7.15pm the ITV1 show peaked with an impressive 10 million and 43.3% share.
Slightly later, things did not look so great for BBC One as Robin Hood only managed 5.5 million and a 23.6% share. The shows ratings have not increased in three weeks after hitting its lowest figure so far.
Casualty went head to head with The X Factor – the Result at 8.45pm and ITV1 triumphed in this later slot with 8.4 million to BBC One's 6.5 million.
Later on Saturday night, the Strictly Come Dancing results show and ITV1's I'm a Celebrity both managed 7.4 million viewers.
