Berger takes the top position at Warner Bros

Warner Bros has promoted Josh Berger to president and managing director of its Entertainment UK and Ireland operations.
Berger will look after all the Hollywood studio's UK and Ireland businesses, including TV, film, DVD, merchandising and digital distribution, as well as developing new business across all its products. He will continue to report to Warner Bros executive vice president of international, Richard Fox.
Warner Bros makes television shows ER, The OC, Veronica Mars, Nip/Tuck and Without A Trace in the US. The Harry Potter franchise and animated movie hit Happy Feet are among its film interests.
Prior to this promotion, Mr Berger was executive vice president and managing director for Warner Bros Entertainment, UK and Ireland. He joined the company in 1989 as a sales executive for the company's international television distribution arm in Paris.
