Birds of a Feather actress Linda Robson is to present the breakfast show on BBC London 94.9FM from Monday.
Co-presenting with JoAnne Good, Robson follows Jason Donovan and Les Dennis who have both hosted the show since Jono Coleman left the station to return home to Australia before Christmas.
BBC London managing editor, David Robey, said: "Linda is a London mum through and through as well as being one of our most loved TV stars, so I'm sure she'll have a very strong connection with our listeners. It'll be good to hear two women on the radio at breakfast when London radio is so full of lads."
He added: "We're still looking for a permanent replacement for Jono Coleman, meantime it's great to have such talented people as Linda, Les and Jason presenting the show with Jo."
