Sky News and Five news begin a week of special reports this week to show the impact of climate change in the UK, and what viewers can do to make a difference.
Both broadcasters will feature debates and interviews focusing on green issues featuring MPs, musicians, A-list Hollywood actors and entrepreneurs.
Prime minister Tony Blair, Tory leader David Cameron, Liberal Democrat leader Sir Menzies Campbell are lined-up for interview, with Chancellor Gordon Brown taking part in an international debate, Green Britain: the Global Crisis, chaired by Sky News Political Editor Adam Boulton.
Head of Sky News, John Ryley said: "The environment is a major world issue. Sky News' climate change week will provide viewers with practical advice on what they can do to combat its effects."
Other interviewees include Robin Williams, Moby, Kate Winslett, Lenny Henry, Dame Anita Roddick, Elijah Wood and Bob Geldof.
Viewers will also be invited to contribute their own stories, tips and videos, which will make up a special climate change map on the Green Britain website sky.com/greenbritain and on Sky TV.
Five news is devoting its 7pm bulletin to green issues as part of the Green Britain week. News editor Mark Calvert said: "We'll explore the impact humans are having on the world in which we live and what small steps we can take to lessen our footprint."
