Oscars to be shown in HD

Sky has announced that both the live ceremony and red-carpet coverage of this year's Oscars will be broadcast in HD for the first time.
Sky One and Sky One HD's LA host will be Fearne Cotton who will interviews the stars about their outfits and hopes for award success. The 90 minute preview coverage starts at 11pm on Sunday February 25.
Sky Movies and Sky Movies HD will then show full, live coverage of the awards from 12.30am, with the ceremony kicking off at 1.30am. Claudia Winkleman will provide commentary on the runaway winners and underdog wins of the night.
A two-hour highlights show will also be shown on Sky One and Sky One HD from 10pm on Monday February 26, which Cotton will host.
