Angel Gambino, MTV Networks UK & Ireland's vice president commercial strategy and digital media, has left the company.
The network now says it will split her role into three areas - strategy, commercial and digital - and is currently recruiting for the positions.
Gambino, who joined the company in 2005, created the UGC channel MTV Flux as well as mobile television channels for MTV, Paramount Comedy and Nickelodeon and broadband channel MTV Overdrive. She was formerly controller of business development and emerging platforms at the BBC.
The company has seen a number of senior staff leave in the past few months. MTV Networks Europe president and chief executive Simon Guild resigned last year after 14 years, with the global president and chief operating officer Michael Wolf also leaving in February.
Earlier this month MTV UK & Ireland vice president of talent and music Mardi Caught left to become general manager at Columbia Records, with vice president of scheduling Rupert Morling departing for Discovery.
