BBC Vision rolls out e-commissioning

BBC Vision will introduce a web-based system for programme proposals in March.
The new e-commissioning system is designed to make the system "quicker and less bureaucratic," and will enable programme makers to track the progress of their proposal online.
"Vision moves fully into multiplatform commissioning this April and capturing every proposal on this website means that we can spend more time developing the very best creative ideas," said BBC Vision director Jana Bennett. "And because this system makes it easier to track the progress of proposals, we can ensure there's a level playing field for independents and in-house production as the WOCC becomes operational."
