MTV head leaves for BT Vision

Michael Barry, managing director of MTV UK & Ireland, will join BT Vision in April as director of programming.
He follows a number of senior people leaving the network in the past few months including new media head Angel Gambino and MTV Networks Europe's president and chief executive, Simon Guild.
At BT Vision Barry will be responsible for developing programming strategy and broadcast operations for the recently launched service.
Having worked at MTV for 14 years, he was formerly worldwide creative director at Universal Studios Networks.
