'Wrighty' signs with TalkSport

TalkSport has signed up ex-England footballer Ian Wright to co-present its drive time show from March 26.
The former Arsenal, Crystal Palace, and West Ham player will co-host with Adrian Durham in the 4-7pm slot. He replaces Rodney Marsh who left the station in October last year.
Wright will also produce an exclusive podcast for the staition, which will be available via www.talksport.net.
The London-born footballer retired from the game in May 2000 with 33 England caps and has since presented TV shows Friends Like These and Guinness World Records, been a team captain on sports quiz show They Think It's All Over, as well as appeared as a "pundit" on the BBC's football coverage. He also currently presents his own one hour radio show on Five Live on Saturday evenings.
Earlier this month TalkSport recorded a weekly reach of 2.2 million adults, up 3% year on year, in the latest Rajar figures.
