Sky reorganises movie channels
Published Wednesday, Feb 14 2007, 14:08 GMT | By Joanne Oatts
Currently called Sky Movies 1 to 10 and Sky Cinema 1 and 2, the satellite broadcaster's movie channels are to be reorganised.
The channels will be split into genres including comedy, drama, indie and "modern greats", and bundled into two subscription packages, giving viewers the opportunity of subscribing to only half the channels on offer.
Sky has also revealed that its PC on-demand service, Sky Anytime, is transferring to television.
The news comes following US cable channel HBO announcing its first UK launch on Virgin Media.
A version of Sky Anytime will be available on TV from next month. Sky's new movie channels will relaunch on April 4.
