'Big Brother' review begins
Published Monday, Feb 19 2007, 10:02 GMT | By Joanne Oatts

Chairman Luke Johnson ordered the review into the channel's editorial and compliance measures, following more than 55,000 complaints to regulator Ofcom about the treatment of Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty in the Celebrity Big Brother house.
Those conducting the review include the channel's head of finance Anne Bulford, Rabinder Singh, a barrister at the Matrix Chambers, and Royal Opera House chief executive Tony Hall, a non-executive director of Channel 4.
According to Broadcast, key departments, including the press and publicity team, have been interviewed as part of the review.
The panel will assess its findings and draw conclusions, which could be made public. This will then inform the broadcaster's response to regulator Ofcom, which is also carrying out an investigation.
