London's Capital Radio has signed controversial DJ Bam Bam to present a new weekday evening show.
Paul Gillies, who currently presents the slot, will remain on the station as the host of a show yet to be announced.
The new show, as yet unnamed, will run on weeknights from 7-10pm from Monday March 12. The DJ, whose real name is Peter Poulton, will also continue to host his downloadable show Bam Bam Daily, which he launched in September last year.
DJ Bam Bam said he had wanted to move to Capital for a while and described London as "the world's greatest radio battleground".
Bam Bam left Emap-owned Kiss FM in April after complaints about his show, which resulted in an unprecedented £175,000 fine for the company.
