ITV draws 5.7 million for 'Cold Blood'

ITV1 drama Cold Blood returned last night with an average audience of 5.7 million viewers and a 26% share at 9pm.
The show, which stars Matthew Kelly, Jemma Redgrave and John Hannah, dropped viewers slightly over its 90-minutes, beginning with 7 million and a 30% share, falling to 4.6 million and a 23.2% share in the final 15-minutes. Though the show still managed to averaged well above the channel's slot average of 5.1 million.
The pilot episode, which aired in October 2005, drew in 7.1 million and a 30.9% share in the same 9pm slot.
Last month, DS revealed that ITV had commissioned a full series of the drama serial, with possible future guest stars to include Coronation Street actor Bill Ward, Pauline Quirke, Phil Davis and Russell Brand.
