Former Radio 1 DJ Mark Goodier is to host his first daily radio show in 10 years.
Smooth FM, which is soon to change its format from playing soul to music for the over-35s , has give the former Radio 1 DJ a mid-morning slot.
Joining the station on March 26, Goodier, whose Radio 1 nickname was 'Mark Goodybags,' will present a three-hour show from 10am, with current DJ Kevin Greening moving to an afternoon slot.
Goodier said: "I've had lots of offers to return to a daily show over the years but this was much more tempting than the rest."
Magic's Graham Dene and former Virgin Radio DJ Martin Collins have also been lined-up for the station.
