Gordon Brown to celebrate Five's tenth
Published Monday, Mar 12 2007, 10:01 GMT | By James Welsh

Gordon Brown Meets the Ten Year Olds will be hosted by Kirsty Young and will feature the Chancellor being questioned by ten year olds from around the country.
"Gordon Brown is well known for seeing off professional journalists but I think he may find our panel of ten year olds a lot more difficult to handle," said Chris Shaw, senior controller for news and current affairs.
Other shows planned as part of the anniversary celebrations include Being Ten, in which celebrities remember their youth; Britain's Extraordinary Ten-Year-Olds, examining the lives of three children who have triumphed over adversity; The Ten Demandments, in which ten year olds will swap roles with their parents; and I Blame The Spice Girls, in which a comedy panel will look back at how UK culture has developed in the ten years of Five's existence.
