Channel 4 loses drama man

Channel 4's senior commissioning editor for drama Francis Hopkinson is leaving the channel.
Since Hopkinson joined the channel in 2005 he has overseen dramas Skins, Elizabeth I, Longford and Bradford Riots.
Channel 4 is reported to have already lined up a replacement for Hopkinson.
He will leave his position at the end of May to join the independent production company being set up by ITV Productions controller of drama, comedy and films Andy Harries. Harries is reported to be leaving is job at ITV Productions later this year.
