Core to become an 'Access All Areas' station
Published Tuesday, Mar 27 2007, 13:51 BST | By Joanne Oatts
Digital station Core is changing from this Saturday, allowing listeners to choose the music it plays.
Calling it an 'Access All Areas' station, the only people talking on Core will be listeners, as the station loses its presenter-led format.
Listeners can text the station their request, and get a time when their song will be played in response. Core's Myspace page will also allow other listeners to interact, plus there will be a new playlist discussion group who will influence the station playlist.
