Channel 4 scoops 1.1m with 'Secret Life'

Channel 4's drama about the life of a convicted paedophile took an average 1.1 million viewers and a 5.3% share at 9pm last night.
Starring Spooks and Pride and Prejudice actor Matthew Macfadyen in the lead role, Secret Life peaked at 1.3 million, with 49% of its viewers coming from the ABC1 demographic group.
The film highlighted the lack of effective measures in place to prevent convicted child sex offenders from re-offending after prison.
In the same slot, BBC One's Sea of Souls managed 4.1 million and a 19.2% audience share. On ITV1, Britain's Rich List took 3.4 million and a 16.6% share. Five managed 2.2 million with US drama House at 9pm.
