Martin Freeman is to star in a new comedy for Channel 4 about a failed magician.
Other People (working title) follows a thirty-something man who was a famous TV magician in his teens, but has become "bit washed up."
The pilot has been written by Doctor Who and No Angels' Toby Whithouse and is being produced by Company Pictures.
Earlier this month, Freeman co-presented a radio show for BBC London, sitting in for Danny Baker while he was on holiday.
