Bebo recruits former MTV exec

Social networking site Bebo has hired Angel Gambino to head up its music division, in the new role of vice president, music.
Until January, Gambino was vice president of commercial, strategy and digital media at music channel MTV Networks.
She told The Guardian that Bebo plans to launch a range of new features to help users find, listen to and buy new music, with the aim of "overtaking MySpace."
Last month, the company signed a deal with online store 7Digital to allow users to download songs with a single click.
