Sony Pictures Television is planning to turn some of its classic shows into condensed episodes.
Series' like Charlie's Angels, TJ Hooker and Starsky & Hutch could become three-to five-minute shortform pieces available for distribution on platforms like MySpace.
Steve Mosko, the company's president, told the New York Times that the 'minisodes' would be available in June.
He said: "We've been looking for a legitimate way to make money from our library. Something that could bring new life to shows that have been on the shelf for a while."
Sony is due to launch its internet-based service the Minisode Network around the same time.
