Xfm could drop presenters in daytime

Xfm is reportedly considering dropping DJs from its daytime schedule.
GCap management are believed to be ready to announce details of a possibly restructure plan to station staff this afternoon.
One proposal is that between when the breakfast show finishes at 10am and when the drivetime show starts at 4pm the station should play just music, ads and jingles, with no live DJs.
The restructure is expected to affect all three Xfm stations in London, Manchester and Scotland. GCap has said the move is mere speculation and that no formal announcement has been made.
