Universal Channel rebrands with '100% Characters' tagline, new logo

Universal Channel has unveiled its new look and logo, which are built around the tagline '100% Characters'.

The refresh for the channel will premiere on TV in the UK and Ireland on August 5.

Universal is currently the home of popular US series such as Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Major Crimes, Royal Pains and Rookie Blue.

Bates Motel, the critically acclaimed prequel to Alfred Hitchcock's genre-defining film, which stars Freddie Highmore and Vera Farmiga, will also be premiering on Universal in September.
