Channel 4 looks to 'group up' on the EPG
Published Thursday, May 17 2007, 18:16 BST | By Joanne Oatts
Channel 4 is believed to be in talks with Life TV Media about buying the company in order to acquire its Sky electronic programme guide position for its own digital channels.
Life TV Media currently has three channels - Life TV, Life 24 and Life Showcase - which sit alongside Channel 4's E4, E4 +1 and More 4 in the guide.
The space would allow Channel 4 to develop new digital channels and change where it sits on the EPG without having to negotiate with Sky for a better slot.
